Val Weight
Val Weight, CPA, is a seasoned financial professional with 30 years of CFO and controllership experience in a range of industries.
He started his financial career in 1991 as a Division Controller with UniSource WorldWide Inc., North America’s largest paper distributors. Following this, he was interim controller for two years at Porch Swing Publishing Inc., which published America’s largest circulation scrapbooking magazine. Subsequently, Val was VP Finance and CFO of Basic Research Inc., a privately held company that develops and markets consumer products through more than 17,000 retail accounts.
Val earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah, and a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
