Andrew Pollock

Andrew Pollock is an expert in waste management and extended producer responsibility programs. He has 26 years of experience in both the private and public sector implementing waste management systems and technologies.

Andrew has been a Director of Waste Services for the Canadian municipalities of Toronto, Peel Region and Niagara Region. In that capacity he was responsible for awarding and overseeing large-scale contracts for collection, processing and disposal services, as well as design-build-operate contracts for recycling and organics processing facilities.

He also served on the Board of Directors of Waste Diversion Ontario, an organization responsible for the approval and oversight of extended producer responsibility programs for consumer packaging and printed paper, used tires, waste electronics and electrical equipment and household hazardous waste.

He holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto and a BA (Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University.
