Colin Johnston

Colin Johnston is an accomplished paper supply chain professional, including more than thirty years in the pulp and paper industry.

Prior to Trimingham, Colin managed annual budgets of $100 million and was responsible for the procurement of recovered paper from four Canadian mills supplying over 1.1 million tons annually. His experience includes seven years with senior marketing management responsibility. His strong organizational strengths in the supervision and coordination of process improvement initiatives and his strong leadership and negotiation skills were key in securing large contracts and the provision of savings to the corporate bottom line. Colin was the Chairman of the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association Recycling Section, and continues a member of the Recycling Council of Ontario.

Colin earned a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and was in the Management Program at one of Canada’s largest banks.
