Deirdre Walsh is a seasoned health care management consultant with significant experience in managed care, particularly Blue Cross Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s). She has 17 years of health care experience.
Deirdre has twelve years of management consulting experience with Health Maintenance Organizations in the Northeastern U.S. ranging in size from 50,000 to 250,000 members, Fortune 100 pharmaceutical companies, biotech ventures, government agencies and not-for-profit health care entities. She is well versed in the tactical reimbursement issues, as well as the strategic issues confronting the U.S. health care system. Deirdre earned a BSc in Chemistry from York University.
