David Trounce

David Trounce is a leading authority on consumer products pricing and brand positioning. His focus is on finding insights in large data sets and turning this into decision tools.

Most recently, David was a Partner at Oliver Wyman in San Francisco, where he specialized in retail, distribution and consumer businesses to drive improvements in sales and profitability. For numerous U.S. and European retail and consumer clients, he advised on pricing, promotion, customer-specific offers, loyalty, product assortment, customer offers, and in-store service. He has an in-depth knowledge of Kmart.

David holds an MBA from The Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds B.A. and honorary M.A. first class degrees in mathematics and computer science from Cambridge University in England.
