Bob Austrian
Bob Austrian is a senior level technology executive, analyst and investor with P&L, management, startup, Board, finance, software and strategy expertise spanning 25 years, and the full lifecycles of companies. He plays both strategic and tactical roles with technology clients.
Starting in 1985, Bob has held a number of technology analyst positions with Montgomery Securities, Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, and Morgan Stanley. He was recognized by The Wall Street Journal in 2001 as the #1 Software Analyst, in their “Best on the Street” survey. Bob has software expertise in ERP, CRM, supply chain, finance, subscription models and MSFT ecosystems.
He is the designer, donor, and manager of the Mount Tamalpais School Observatory near San Francisco, a sponsor of the Austrian Astronomy Award & Prize at Colgate University; and an Ambassador, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador program.
Bob earned an MBA in finance from NYU’s Stern School, where he was a Stern Scholar; and a BA in economics, computer science, and astronomy from Colgate University.
